here is the deal i have recently come in contact with some old buddie swith a machine shop. they are showing me the ropes and I would like to use my new found skills to supercharge my xb9sx. the biggest problem right now is i cant seem to find a place to just buy a supercharger . There are several kits for both super and turbo chargers . all i need is the supercharger , i will make th brackets and do the mods to my primary cover for the drive pully . If anyone has a clue where to purchase a blower let me know . also if you have some ideas on how to make it work better let me know . later dudes |

There is quite a bit more to it than just brackets and tubes what not. Although the cost seems high, the kits have been tested and most of the bugs worked out. I too am like you and like to use my machining skills to fab things. But sometimes it's better to "farm" out some things. I would say this may be one of them. However, if you do find a turbo/blower and decide to fab it up your self, I would love to see some pics posted on the board and a report of how it works out. |

You may want to ask this in the engine section of the Knowledge Vault. Also you may want to get in touch with Jens of Hillbilly-Motors. His english is pretty good and his knowledge is great. They have a kit, but Jens will help you I'm sure, he may even be able to point you in the right direction for a kitless blower. |

thanks for the imput . I would love to find out who came up with the last housing integrated with the primary cover , very cool . Also i am aware of the potential bugs and have made arrangements with my local motorcycle shop to use their dyno and their diagnostic program tools . Has anyone actually bought a stand alone supercharger ? later dudes. |

Check with Supergriz on www.suzukihayabusa.org in the turbo section. He has a shop in Berkeley CA that does supercharger stuff with the Rotrex's IIRC. I have his site bookmarked at work computer so I can look on fri. |

Looks like Jens from HillBilly-Motors knows what he's doing. His English is great, and his customer service and products are outstanding.
This is Jens's HellBender Bike... it was featured in some magazines a while back, and is truly astonishing to see in person. |
