Pictures? Any pictures? Maybe one of Philip taking another "happy nap?" We hated to miss out on Roadrunr's special Chicago-Cajun boiled crawfish, but we had to go to a wedding and drink the father of the bride's expensive scotch whisky.
It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it... rt |

Howdy, y'all! Who wants to go for a weekend ride in the Texas Hill Country? We Austin folk’re planning a weekend getaway for May 12, 13 and 14. We’d base it out of Camp Live Oak ( http://www.campliveoak.com/ ) in Leakey, smack dab in the middle of the best motorcycle riding country in Texas. We’re figuring $20 a head will get you a cookout dinner on Saturday night and a kick-a$$ commemorative t-shirt (except for Road Thing, whose Ranchito generosity means his money is no good 'roun hyar). Accomodations (cabins, or possibly, camping), all other meals and libations will be up to you. If you’d like to get a feel for the terrific time you’d be in for, point your browser to these links on Badweb: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/6817/105580.html?1111730981 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/6817/15837.html?1033298826 I believe we’ll have at least one chase truck/trailer, as some people have expressed an interest in some off-roading as well (Sir Chadley’s got a new Husky!), so that’s an extra safely feature in case of a breakdown, etc. Extra stuff-hauling space, too, at least from Austin to Leakey! Let's hear some opinions within a day or two on this from those interested, so I’ll know how many cabins to reserve/how much food/how many t-shirts, etc. I'll start an official sign-up sheet once I get a rough idea of the way things are headed. I'll be posting this over on the Dallas-area Storm Front as well, so maybe we can get a great confluence of Texas V-Twin mayhem together! Hello Houston people. How have you been? I hope to see some of y'all there in May. Hey Road, I got that dirtbike/dualsport that I've been wanting. I've had several bikes, but this is my first brand new one. What do you think? That's my pup, Gustavo(Goose), in the background.

Hello, I just wanted to say hello, new to this site. I am saving up for an xb 12, haven't decided on which model yet, probably a 12cg. I would like to know where you guys (and girls?) meet up and hang at before going riding. I'm trying to get as much info on these awesome bikes as possible. Thanks and hope to meet some Houston Buellers soon! |

Jesse: Seems like most of the Houston guys start out up in the Woodlands. Newman's Bakery in Bellville is a popular meeting spot, it's close to some nice roads and to weekend place north of Welcome. Hope to see you riding a Buell soon! rt |

Hey all! I bought a 2003 Buell Firebolt XB9r about a month ago. I live in the Woodlands area and am looking for people to ride with plus I want to see some other Buells. All you see in the Woodlands are BMW motorcycles and we can't have that! Hope to hear from some of you soon! |

Guys, I'd love to go to Big Bend. It has been on my list of things to do since I moved here. Unfortunately, I think I may be heading to Oregon that weekend for a few days. It's not set in stone yet, so perhaps there's still hope. It has been so long since I've ridden, I wonder if my bike is still talking to me? |
