The only helmet I carry when playing football stays in my shorts! That's a helmet for softy would be rugby players who have to stop every 2 mins for a commercial break! |

great rebel 450...my ex-fiancee had one. immediately before my S2, I owned an '81 katanah and a '92 fxr, simultaneously. immediately prior to them, I had a series of self-built bmw r series airheads, from 750-1200+ ccs, and an '86 GpZx900 ninja (top gun scoot, but in 1986 red/white/blue). prior to that, a handful of fxrs, and prior to that, many boxers, brits, etc., and a strangely consistent string of GpZ550s....don't ask me how, but people kept giving me free GpZ550s.... always kept an fx series big twin around... as a kid and early teen, i raced for Honda (MX) through two different shops, then Ossa (Flat track ..."O, Pioneer!" ), and independently (when i was 14) on seriously customized works Hodakas that were handed down to me by my mom. as a tyke, I rode a cheeftah scrambler, various Speedway brand minibikes, and a yamaha mini-enduro, first year they came out. when I'd outgrown my XR 75s (at about 13) I turned to stunt-riding for awhile, and went back and forth between it and flat-track. could not earn a penny stunt-riding, but it impressed the girls and pissed off the cops... esp. standing upright/astride, right foot on left peg, arms in the air, on a flat-track modified little xr-75 with street rubber, at about 60 mph down main street with the throttle stuck wfo... aleter, when i got my first camaro, the cops were unamused by me driving from the passenger seat (slapstick auto, l. leg over the console, l. hand on bottom of wheel) with my samoyed/malamute mix in the driver's seat, replete with goggles... he was a great dog, always smiling, but an unattentive driver, alas. |

Well I somehow missed these posts. "Mr_grumpy - Imeazy, nice looking pickup creeping into shot there too." Thanks yet another toy I can't afford to enjoy. laughs "Brineusaf - Hmm... forget the pickup for the moment... is that a BROWNS logo on the wall?! Innes... we call that a FOOTBALL helmet! " Yep, that is a Browns helmet. I live close to Akron. That sign used to be mounted on the front of my house. lol |
