If they bring it to the states and price it within reason and close to a price of a Buell I'll sell my X1 and get one. But i can't see that happening. I really like the intake the look and location. But the best part is the 100 c.u. S&S with 115 rwhp 115 ft.lb. Top end speed of about 155 MPH. (Message edited by paw on July 29, 2006) |

I can't even SEE a frame anywhere. It might only look good standing still, might not ride worth a damn. |

When you go to the link click on the word here for full spec's you will see a pic of the frame there is nothing to it the bike will rip. Got to be fast it kinda like the tubers just bigger better motor brakes look the same control the suspension looks updated and better than the tubers i would have to think wakan should be able to make it handle pretty decent. IMO its an updated old school buell. The only thing i do not like is there is no wind protection what so ever. (Message edited by paw on July 29, 2006) |

It doesn't look like much to tame a big V-Twin.. |

$35.000 for one. Comparable to my Buell, I think not. |

Y'all ever rode a bike with a frame like that? Chassis flex would be a friggin' nightmare and probably completely useless in the twisties, but I'm sure it'll work good for posing. Like an OCC bike built for "racing". |

Stunning motorcycle. I really like the way he's taken Buells S1 as inspiration. Even the chassis geometry looks close. This is exactly the sort of Super Buell that the S1's should have become. I'd be interested to hear what Erik thinks of it. $35.000 is a bucket load of cash, but isn't that the price that hand built quality brings? I bet there isn't a shit load of profit in them at that price. Rocket |

the frame is made of steel a lot stronger than aluminum so i do not think it will flex to much to worry about. I think wakan would put all that into consideration before they build it for production. |

Oh wait the frame is chrome-moly even stronger than just a plain steel frame. I would not be afraid to thrash it around a bit. But that $35,000 just slices threw me. I'm sure its worth it to the right people. i'm not one of them, maybe if the price was under $20,000. (Message edited by paw on July 30, 2006) |

It's cheaper than the Ecosse Heretic! But I don't think they'll ever sell 'em in the States. There are quite a few French motorcycles available in Europe, but none of them make it over here. Too much bother getting them "federalized" I guess. |

A seemingly fatal flaw.....WHERE'S THE CHARGING SYSTEM LOCATED! The question is WHERE. Those look like "early evo" style sportster cases(notice the smallish primary cover, and extra ribbing on the case above same),where the stator was located behind the clutch basket and excessive power delivery tended to short it OFTEN. |

They should sell it as a kit. I think it would be more easy to sell in the states if it wasn't a complete bike. You can buy a "choppa" in a box kit, why not one of these? |

I would move the exhaust undertail if possible. And yes my Buell would go bye-bye for that one. |
