Toona, I should be going Friday night and Saturday if they can get the bike fixed by then. BFHD has had the bike for over a week now. Hopefully today they can fix it. | ||

I'm a Steelers fan from way back. Grew up in Western, PA. Lived in places like... Washington Baden (Pittsburgh suburb, right on the Ohio River) Girard I have lots of relatives up around Erie and also Meadville, some out in Bellefonte near State College. PA is a great state. I miss living near the big lake (Erie) and having a bunch of family land on which to hunt deer. The longggg Summer days sure were nice too. Don't miss the short Winter days and Winter cold though.  Been in Texas for 25 years now. Pretty sure I've been assimilated. But yeah, I remain a die-hard Steelers fan. That will never change. Jokes are fine. Big Ben better have a sense of humor about his crash. I'm sure he takes endless ribbing about it from his team-mates. | ||

Anyone going to Carlisle this weekend? I posted on the DC/MD/VA thread about meeting at the right side of the grandstand (looking at it) around 1:00. Any locals going to show some good roads? Got it, I'll be available thru this Thurs. Then off on family vacation and work trip thru Sun Aug 6th. The 2 guys that work for me are having a bad streak of luck. The '99 X1 picked up a nail in his tire, will order new tires on Monday (tomorrow) the other XB9 picked up a stone in his belt, dead center, holding his breath while collecting '04 pulley set up parts. Just found another on here, Mikey_wax, that lives in/near Lilly, close to Cresson. How free is your schedule? | ||

Brian, I am unfamiliar w/ 31.  Maybe Rt 30? I can meet you tomorrow night at 6:00 at the Altoona Lowes, 17th St. exit off of I-99. I'll take you on a modified Reservoir Ride. Only modified to end closer to Cresson, where Rt 22 meets Rt 219 (closest to Somerset). You won't miss anything, just do part of it in a reverse order. Another ride you may want to consider is going to Shanksville, PA to the Flight 91 Memorial. I personally haven't been there (yet), but have heard it is very moving. | ||

Hi guys, I rode through that area on Monday returning from the Adirondacks. If you've never been to the Adirondacks, GO! There honestly is not a bad road in the whole area! The roads are fantastic and the scenery is breath taking. Have any of you ridden rt. 144 from Galeton (on Rt. 6) through Renovo to Snow Shoe? WOW what a ride! I know it's not a "loop" but if you can connect some other roads that is one not to miss!   | ||
