Hey guys been a long long time since I have been around. Life has been a little crazy for me the last couple years! My S1 is in a bit of a sad state these days. I am trying to run down the parts I need to get her back up and going. What I am looking for at the moment, is a good deal on an exhaust for the stock S1 headers (unless someone has the upgraded set they are looking to get rid of cheaply). I currently have a burned out V&H slip-on on the bike. It's needed repacked for atleast the last two years, and from what I have read on here it seems to be a PITA to mess with and since time is very limited for me these days I would rather just replace it. I have all the up to date exhaust hangers so that won't present a problem. I am just looking for something in good shape cosmeticly and mechanicly that may be laying around taking up space in your garage! I would prefer a slip on style can rather then a supertrap style. Another V&H would be fine, my ultimate choice would be the CF Borla that you can't find anywhere (plus it would be way outa my price range anyway). I have been watching the Wileyco's on ebay, but they never have any for the older 96-97 2" headers. Plus from the info I dug up on here, a lot of them seem to have issues as they were the discontinued models that are being sold. The sad thing is a couple years back I remember seeing boat-loads of the V&H ss2r's on ebay new in the boxes for $75!! Now I can't find any! At any rate, let me know if you have something laying around you wouldn't mind parting with and maybe we can work something out! Thanks in advance! | ||

Derek, Could you use a S1W header to open up your choices in mufflers? I happen to have one looking for a new home. Bry bonus is it is in Little Rock | ||

Bryan, I appreciate the offer on that! After posting this, I did some more digging on the net to find something I could use. I ran accross a couple sites that I have email's into to check on stock. This was for can's with the 2" inlet. That being said, if they turn up nothing then I may very well take you up on that. It does seem like the options increase with the 2.5" inlet considerably. What would you want price wise for them? Once again I appreciate it! P.S. nice looking bike on your profile pic!  | ||

Bryan, thanks again for the offer of the headers, and to everyone else who P/M'd me with links & suggestions! I will not be needing the headers. I actually scored the Borla slip-on I have always wanted for my bike since getting it. It is the 2" inlet version. So if you were bidding on the one on ebay last night, sorry!  Now to figure out how to mount this thing! It came with no hangers or clamps. I dug up an old thread Blake put up and got some info there, but the search continues! Thanks again everyone! | ||
