I am glad they got a top ten! Pretty funny how on some boards the people that said "they will grenade and not finish" are all falling back on how lousy a top ten is. They are killing me. I see over on other boards now the bitcher and moaner self appointed Race experts are questioning why they didn't finish on the podium. Ya know, some people are just born whinny little bitches. Not happy unless they have something to complain about. First it was " they'll grenade before the finish, what pieces of crap" Now they finish, top 10 no less and it's "why didn't they finish on the podium, pieces of crap". Next they'll finish 3rd and it will be "why not 2nd?", then 2nd and "why not 1st". Last I checked there were plenty of Jap bikes that finished behind Buell. What's there excuse? Oh that's right, they don't need one because they're far superior no matter where they finish. Good for Buell. Just finishing is a victory. But there will always be some @@shole that tries to shit on the parade. Some people need to get a hobby.  | ||

Think about this too, according to RRW, the ambient temp under the awning in the Warr's/Buell pit was 114F at race time. They say they've been treating people at the track for heat stroke! That is very hard on an air-cooled engine. It's amazing there was no trouble with it. | ||

Let me see a production version of the R6??? Double,hell almost triple the amount of the XBRR. Buelltroll you want a inline 4 you should of went and bought one. Who knows what the future holds for the XBRR but its not all that bad either. | ||

They can hey. Where??? The ones I see are about 9 grand not 85 grand plus. Thats right whats production about that?? Their is plenty on Graves R6's that you or anyone for that matter cannot purchase or they would have more competition then they already have. Gotta go this is a argument that Buell had already won with the AMA so it doesn't need to be proved to you. | ||

This all stemmed from Buell calling it the XBRR. Some people are so short sighted they insist that it's not legal when it is obviously the same platform as the XB12R. The funny thing is that it has more in common with the street bike than the competition has in common with their street bikes. It takes more intelligence to see similarity than difference, and the world is full of idiots. I think this whole argument would have been shut down had it been called an XB12R. But then we would be hearing "It ain't legal! It ain't got no 1200 in it!" Even though that too is clearly legal. I say, ignore them and let them bitch like little girls. | ||

The swing arm is the same, but modified for chain use. there are a bunch more things, but you only asked for one. If you think the motors in a FX honda, or Yamaha factory bike are the same, unmodified engines you can buy in a show room, or the chassis, suspension, or even wheels and brakes you're mistaken. Everything from swingarm pivots to materials used to make engine internal parts and casings to dimensions are different. Go try taking a close look at those "stock based bikes" some time. At least as close as they'll allow, which isn't very.} | ||

Front brake rotor, FRAME, X1 tach, Brake lines most likely, rear caliper and rotor, most of the swing arm, engine mounting brackets, oil lines I'd guess, wouldn't doubt if the oil pump was the same... I'm sure there's more. That's not the point IMO though... IMO it's all about money. How much can an XBRR be built for, and how much can a competitive IL4 bike be built for? You don't think that if someone like graves, yoshimura, attack or whoever put the same amount of money into an XBRR that they put into an IL4 that it wouldn't be capable of winning races? Personally I think it's extremely close as it is now... There's still bugs I'm sure but they're making HUGE progress. Eighth place in an AMA race... You don't think that the factory teams were pulling out all the "extra" stops for Laguna? I do. They placed eighth. That's BRILLIANT. I'm beginning to see exactly what Blake talks about...
