So we ended up going a different direction with my friends GSXR because of ebay BS. The guy that sold me the chrome wheels refunded my money and I just found them relisted on ebay today, so I have reported him twice now. We also lost the full set of plastics that I was trying to get. Instead we bought a set of powdercoated black wheels off ebay and we're going to sell his this weekend. We also found a guy that buys complete OEM replacement sets of plastics and paints them, so we bought a set including the tank from him. He is spraying house of kolor Platinum on all of the plastics and the undertail that we picked up (he has a full Akrapovic Titanium exhaust system). He said he should be shipping everything out to me next week. With everything that I bought for his bike and the stuff that we are going to sell on ebay his total should be about $1,650 for pretty much replacing everything. There is hardly anything worth salvaging from the original plastics on this bike. I'm just hoping some stunters will want some of his plastics and his tank. Here is the laundry list for an 02 GSXR 1000: Complete Set of New Plastics Custom Paint New Tank New Undertail New Upper Fairing Stay Front and Rear Wheels Rear Subframe Right Clip On New Windshield Not to bad for $1,650 if you ask me. I think it would have been more than $4,500 to have a shop get everything and do the labor. Luckily most all of the damage is cosmetic, so he'll have his entire bike rebuilt and looking better than it ever has for less than most people spend customizing. Now I just hope that nobody else screws me on anything that I'm waiting for. Sad part is that he'll probably be up and running before I am at this rate! Does anyone want to make a trip to Top City? I don't think they'll have my belt for another week or two. | ||

Here are some pics. The wheels are the actual pictures, and the plastics are a similar color to what we are getting. BTW, the undertail is being painted to match the rest of the bike. I think the bike is going to look pretty sick! In case you're wondering, the bike started out with the same blue and white set up that you see on every other GSXR and white wheels.
