Hi There, went to make a front shock pre-load adjustment this evening and it turned very hard and made a awful sounding screeching noise. I had a 10k fork service done about 1,500 miles ago. Last time I made an adjustment, it turned very smooth. This was only on the left fork. The right turned nice and smooth. It's almost like it needs lubrication. Any comments, advise? Thanks . . . Something is seriously wrong with that! It should never make any screeching sounds whatsoever. Sounds like something may be cross threaded. Go back to the dealer that did your shock and make them deal with it. Good luck |

i hear more bad stories of the dealers butchering up these bikes, or just plain out not testing them before returning them to a customer. i refuse to go to them. i will either learn it myself or pay one of the local shops i trust to do it(have not come across anything i can't fix on these bikes yet thank god) when will the bid dealers learn about quality workmanship?! |

Oh, I've had my fair share of BUELL dealer trouble. Things with the Uly have been going very well. I'm going to maintain a positive attitude and see how the dealer resolves the issue. The timing of this problem couldn't be worse. I've got a 6,000 mile trip planned that starts in less than 2 weeks. |

be lucky to get it from them in that time frame...seems once you drop it off they hold it hostage for some reason. i recently had a primary cover break on mine, was going to go through dealer for the waranty, they told me if i drop it off right away they could get it back to me in about 2 weeks. WTF?.... i bought a used one and did it myself..time down...3 days, waiting for package and a couple hours to install. now it's done and best part is it is done right...my bike never shifted sooooo nice. not even when new, or after 1st service. |

All is well. Dealer replaced an o-ring. Working like a champ now. No charge and dealer offered to help me reset my suspension settings |
