Anyone know of a aftermarket oil cooler for an xb? Anyone have a pic of theyre set up and where they bought it form? I saw the on on the xbrr and it looks like a pretty good idea, especially if you live somewhere extremely hot. Thanks |

Sgt, There is absolutely no need for an aftermarket oil cooler for any street-going XB. The stock oil cooler is provided to handle the worst possible high temperature riding conditions. A larger more effective oil cooler could well harm you engine. Oil needs to achieve a high enough operating temperature in order to best perform its missions. |

There is a racing oil cooler available. It is designed for use with the full fairings and a duct is designed to work to feed it air properly. You can find it here: http://www.racingmotorcycles.com/products.asp?id=20 I don't know of any sponsors selling these, and they are not usually needed for a street bike. Doesn't mean they aren't cool though. |
