Hey, I have a question about that...does the stock cowling fit over any of the aftermarket pillions? Was thinking about getting one, but i like the look with the cowling

I don't think the cowl will fit over the touring pillon. It is quite a bit bigger. You can just leave the stock seat under the cowl and throw the touring pillon on when you know you're going to be up.

It will not fit over the touring, but it will fit over the "custom" pillion.

I have the custom on my bike. My wife and son both like it better than the stock pillion.

In addition to the one on the Buell website:

I'm going to be removing the strap when I get around to doing it. The cover is usually
on it so I keep forgetting to do it.

the pic in your profile...is it with the "custom" pillion cover..it doesn't look any bigger...i figured it would look no quite as big but something along the lines of the busa's tail...i've seen all the touring seats including the real tall one....do they make a cover for that one? thanks again

Nope no cover for the "touring" pillion

The stock cover goes right over the custom pillion seat. They are the same size,
except the custom is embroidered and has what I believe is a gel insert in it.
My 13 year old son is my primary passenger and he likes it much better. He did the
East Troy to Appleton WI run (130 miles)with no complaints about the seat. That
has been our longest stretch 2 up to date. He weighs 160 pounds or so.
