Will the rear-set plates from a Uly bolt straight on to a firebolt? I was wondering for 2 reasons. 1)increased leg room for me 2) increased passenger leg room. If swingarm clearance is an issue I can deal with that. I also don't have to worry about shift linkage |

Yes of course they'll fit! Edited to correct myself. (Message edited by glitch on July 15, 2006) |

I asked because the ss uses standard rearsets, and the Uly and the SS use the same frame. Just whittling at a problem. Trojan, Did your R style rearsets bolt right up to your Uly based race bike? (Message edited by diablobrian on July 14, 2006) |

I've asked this before and got some suggestions. Frame widths are different. I can't recall when I asked, but it's in the archive. t9r |

Yes they will fit. We have a Uly frame on our race bike fitted with XBR rearsets and the bolt patterns and mountings are exactly the same, so there is no reason to think that the opposite isn't true as well. |

Thanks Matt, I suspected that it would work. Buell uses the lego style swappable parts to keep production costs down, and it works in our favor! |
