used that Ice (turtle Wax) on my 04 XB12 and that is by far the best product I have used to wax my bike. Doesn't take long, although it cost about $20.00 for the wax kit it was well worth it. Also - My bike is due for it's 5K checkup. At 4500 I had the tranny oil changed, Prim chain tightened, clutch adjustment. That primary nut re-torqued to correct torque, TSP reset, AFV reset to 100% (was at 98%). I also have the pro race kit installed. Runs great. I paid them $133.00 for this. Not bad but what do you expect at the Harley Dealership and for having 1 Buell mechanic and hearing so many bad things about Buell service I lucked out. Black Hills Harley Davidson, Rapid City, SD. Kevin knows his Buells. My question is what does the 5K checkup entail? Do I even have to do it? I can change my own oil. My clutch is adjusted fine. What else should I look at? I am mechanically inclined so I can do anything to this bike if I was informed on how to do it. Thanks Badweb! Always a great place for knowledge. Sorry for the long post. I love this bike and the 04 model IMO is the best one they made! Now I just need to change the Red to Black. I like that look the best. Black and Orange |

XBeau12s, May I suggest Line-x for making your red to black transition..it's VERY low maintenance and it looks HOT on the bike!!! Super cheap too |
