Does anyone have experience with Ferodo pads on the Buells? They always worked great for me on Italian bikes. Any got any feedback on pad life and grip? Thanks Steve Ford |

I have CP911 Ferodos on my 2000 S3T. I installed them after riding a '96 S1 with a 2000 rotor and the same pads. Best grip I've ever felt. I have around 6000 miles on the pads and still going strong. Mark |

I had them too on my '98 S3. Performed very well. |

There are two Ferodo compounds available, the "Platinum" and the CP911. The CP911 is the race compound, but is the recommended compound for Buell single disc front rotors due to higher thermal saturation rates. I have some unconfirmed info that the pre-Nissin Buell OEM compound was the CP905 Ferodo Race compound, which was the precursor to the CP911 compound. AL |
