Go to your local parts store and buy a rattle can of truck bed liner. A can is less than five bucks and it's tough as hell. |

I sanded mine with 400 grit paper and painted it with rattle can enamel. Has never chipped or pealed......

I had an extra one off of ebay and I just dyed it. I think it looks just like the one on the cityX and it cant chip off |

Line-X it. That will be the last time you will ever have to worry about it for the life of the bike! |

I just hit mine with a little scotchbrite and sprayed on cheapo bumper paint. 6000 miles and still lookin good. I taped off the gloss parts and shot two thin coats. Cost me $6. NUTS |

I bet the bumper paint works good because it probably has some flex agent mixed in it. Less of a chance to crack that way. |

I have some high heat grill paint. That matches almost perfectly with the sprocket cover, and air scoop. I'm thinking about saning it down and trying that. Ejiii - What is line-x? Tq_Freak - Do you need a rivet gun to get it back together after you take it apart? |

Is there any houses in your neighborhood for sale? If I move a little closer, you can leave me the key and I can dig through your shed at my leisure. |
