I took this off my wife's Yamaha YX600 Radian. It's a Slipstreamer Hellfire windshield. I took it for a ride and it's the best windshield yet I've had on the ULY. It's wider than then the Cee Bailey 16+ and by my reckoning much more aerodynamic. The wind hit me in the head but seems to be clean air. Riding at 70 mph was much more enjoyable. The wind making it to my torso was blocked way better by the shape of this windshield. I had to attach it to the cross bar on the handlebar and there is also a lower attachment point on each side down near the top of the front forks. For expedience sake I just cable tied it to the handle bars below but it is strongly attached. I'd trust my attachments for a long trip. Here's some photos.

Looks pretty cool. OTOH, "Slipstreamer Hellfire" sounds like a device that belongs in your Uly Time Machine thread.... |

No way I'm hurtling through time and space on me ULY without a good windscreen to duck behind. |

That's the setup I need for cold weather riding. Does it rattle much? Do both the upper and lower part mount on the handlebars and not the fork? Thanks in advance, Tim |

The top of it is 16" above the crossbar. I'm about 6'1" and I'm easily looking over the top of it. Doesn't rattle at all. Normally the lower part has a bracket that attaches to the upper forks. The ULY upper fork is too large of diameter for the bracket that came with this windshield. I'm sure that a larger diameter bracket can be specified when ordering. I'd wait to see how the Parabellum windshield works out which we should be hearing about in a couple of weeks. This shield will have to go back on my wife's Yamaha but if the Parabellum doesn't sound right then I'll just get another Slipstreamer. |

Ebay has this particular windshield for around 85 bucks plus shipping. Once you get to Ebay then search on Slipstreamer. |

Hey! - That actually looks pretty cool. appears to mimic the screen on my riding partners 1200GS. He's in clean air @ 80... Or so he claims. I'm good, up to about 40. |
