Jim, It slides a little coming in but that is almost un-noticeable, I only really got loose once coming through the hairpin. It really was smooooth and the bike felt under control but I got scared and rolled off just slightly before I remembered what a highside looks like and got back on the gas. The little lift off the throttle regained traction instantly and gave a little bobble, but not too bad.

Now the Headshake coming out of 4 up the hill that happened later was a lot more intense.

Wow..I really need to find a red helmet. Did not realize the color clash till I saw those pictures.

That was a great time. Been well over a year since my last track day. Forgot how much fun it was. Where to next? RA? Jennings?

I stopped in and checked out the museum on my way out. Hell of a lot of bikes and a few F1 cars too. I enjoyed seeing the bikes from the 80's that my high school buddies and myself used to ride.

What...No one got a shot of the 3% R1?

Lowside at Summit Point in 2002 when the bike was 1 week old and again at VIR in 2004.

You should have got a shot of the 3% tape SilverBullet put on the front

went to roll out on the first session, looked down and oil px light on. no circulation, pulled oil pump and drive gear broke up and pump locked up with damaged teeth. took cam cover off after coming home and found mystery piece in the cam chest- 1"x3/4" x1/8" thick. need to continue investigation. 3rd track day after buying bike and picking up in Feb. looked up and decided i was riding as many demo rides as i could get. had a great time and my favorite was the 9r.

I wanted to get on the 9R but never got motivated enough to do it.

great pics! i think part of the buell dealer sponsored track days is that it includes CD of your pics. that you have to get thru the dealer you signed up at. at least thats the way it worked for the buell dealer trackday at autobahn that i went to in may.

great pics, i cant wait to get back on the track.....
