My Uly's seat is just like the one on the Corbin site, here: http://www.corbin.com/buell/ulysses/xb12xu.shtml I like it a lot. A Uly is two bikes in one, the normal bike when you're sitting back, and the sportier one when you are scooched forward on the seat. The Corbin supports both positions well. And it's a little friendlier to the inseam challenged (I've got a 30" inseam) |

Rhinowerks, Is the offer to mount a tire at your place still open? I'll be needing to replace my rear Firebolt tire before Laguna. That little jaunt up GMR with the BRAG group last Sunday kinda wore the Roadtec down to the wear nubbins a little too soon. Sparky |

Eric, Thanks for the pics, looks like another great ride. I am surprised I didn't see the Uly Boys leaving a dust trail down the hill toward that river. I am packing stuff to bring to you for Laguna; Tiny Tent, bag, pad, MC cover, etc. Any other tips for us first time Loveshackers? Should I bring the stuff I normally put in my pack for a multiday hike? Are there showers, or do I just stand downwind when I photograph the umbrella girls? Thanks a million, Andrew |

Ebear - do car passes work for bikes? We bought a vehicle pass back when we thought I wasn't gonna have the trusty S3 ready to roll and now don't need it. We'll bring it along with us just in case there's a use for it. |

It's NOT a support vehicle pass - it's just the standard parking pass for 4 wheels. We'll bring it. Thought a buddy was going to need it but he also had to drop at the last minute. It'll be with us for anybody to use. We'll be arriving Friday but will be in the pits with Jensen. We'll be running stuff to the Love Shack (our buddy from work is hauling stuff to his campsite and we'll shuttle it across the park) See you all on Friday! |

Hi Nate and welcome!! We're in Vista, right near you, and you're welcome to stop by American Sport Bike anytime. We both have BRAG and SCAB (nice acronym for Southern California Area Buellers) events planned throughout the year. If you go to americansportbike.com and look at the events calendar, you'll see a few things coming up, with details to be worked out. Right now many of the folks are up at Laguna Seca... lucky dogs... Drop us an email to put you on the list for events! |

There's a chance my better half and I will ride to someplace near SLO this weekend. I have ZERO specifics - but if you'd like to meet up for a bite, lemme know. We're just doing break-ins on a fresh Blast top end and a brand new sporty. Nothing exciting. -Saro |

Anybody know somebody on a white XB9R riding Angeles Forest today? (NOT Timbo, different bike) Hit the guardrail, launched over the edge and was life-flighted out. We watched the medevac when the traffic was stopped to clear the LZ Didn't see it happen - didn't know it was a Buell until they cleared the traffic to pass. Guy I was riding with told me of a clueless Buell rider earlier today who ignored the signals the other riders were giving him for police and passed up a BUNCH of bikes who had slowed to the speed limit and was pulled over shortly afterwards, getting a ticket... kinda makes me wonder if it was the same guy. |
