Dunno, show us a photo... what color is your 12R? Either way, what do you care? If you like, then wear it and be proud!!! |

Wear what you like. You don't have to ride a Yamadog to be a Rossi fan. I'm about to trade in my Picotte rep for a new Bostrom tattoo rep. If it fits your character, it will fit your bike. (Message edited by darkducati on July 10, 2006) |

yeah thats what i figured too. i'm sure some ricer will have something to say about it. no big deal, just drown it out w/ the throttle. the bike is red and orange, the helmet is yellow and orange so i don't see a color prob. |

Sounds like a great combo. Not all ricers are dicks. |

Just out of curiosity, which Rossi Rep are you talking about? http://images.google.com/images?q=rossi+replica+helmet&hl=en&btnG=Search+Images I'm a fan too, I just dig solid color helmets. Black usually, and I tend to always add a skull. |

Someone will always have something to say about anything. I always go for bright colors as they help the cagers take notice. |

I think it would be cool until people realize who Rossi is or whom he's sponsored by. When someone knows those things you're going to catch hell. |

My friend Chris rides his XB9R with a Rossi rep. He has for 2 years now and nobody has said anything. AGV's are nice lids though. |

i'll have a rossi helmet .. preferrably when the current one arrives, or i paint my own. i will likely get the rossi rep leathers or ones that follow the colors, graphics & colors .. like the repsol 500 gp ones .. or was it first yr on motogp. anyway .. one of our guys up here rides & races in gaulouise rossi reps leathers. after seeing the colorful pro leathers, those blue & black alpinestars 1 pc's look "oh, so common, dahling!" get a sticker that says. "my other bike is an M1!" that'll give them somthing to think abt. for me - others i am certain - fit, weight, noise & comfort inc. anti-misting is WAY more important than repro race jobbies, not to mention a skilled custome painter will charge abt as much as a top shelf, commercial rep maker's stencilled, screenprinted lid. tabernak! |

a thing that bus me tho is this .. *ricer's* .. thats like import riders calling buelligans wannabe weekend warriors hiding in the canyons for fear of getting trounced on the track or road.. ok, buells can be good in the twisties, but the AIN'T the last word .. that heavy crank can be a real bugbear .. i was way faster on a 04 cbr600rr w/ akrapovic carbon pipe & pc111 .. my damn xb12r is racekitted - yeah like everyones - & open airboxed - ditto everyone - & i know it WELL, but he trounced me & once i adjusted to the weird slow but high revving 600, i was flying .. rider is it .. i am crap, i go to track - he is fearless & unskilled & humiliated me .. IN THE TWISTIES .. where on the track I ROCK! but then again, hard road riding & safe, hard track riding are two different things as far as i am concerned. |

Paul, (Vonsliek) have you been drinking again? hee hee. In all seriousness, I prefer the mis-matched look. Its awesome, just doesnt look right on these wannabe rice burners (cars) all the teens are running around with. |

I don't see anything wrong with it and if people don't like the fact that you're wearing a "racers" helmet then the can go suck an egg. All of my helmets are racer reps; Adamo, Chandler and Hayden. I currently wear the Hayden Laguna and my wife wears one of her two Rossi rep's while riding my Uly. I choose my helmets/gear/bikes based upon what I like and don't give damn what anyone else thinks. |

I don't care if my gear color matches my bike. I have a blue/black helmet and jacket on a black and amber bike. Who cares, we just look like candy wrappers with all the colors anyhow. Get what you like and enjoy |

I choose my helmets/gear/bikes based upon what I like and don't give damn what anyone else thinks. Amen - I went into Hein-Gericke towards the end of last year for some brake cleaner and came out with a bargain '05 AGV Ti-tech Rossi rep c/w iridium visor. I only tried it on for a laugh but it was a great fit so I bought it. I don't care if it doesn't match my red'n'gold Firebolt but it sure clears a path on the road, like Moses through the Red Sea |

I'm with you on the "wear what you want" thinking... I just bought the AGV Ti-Tech "Il Laureato" Rossi Replica...and if anyone doesn't like it, I couldn't give a cr@p....that's their problem |
