"Disclaimer what I'm showing is my journey to modify my motorcycle!" "What you do is do to your motorcycle is your responsibility and could result in a voided warranty, Damage to your motorcycle or even injury or death.." Okay, Now that that is out of way.. I wanted to install a headlight modulator for my bike I also wanted install a way turn on my Red LED marker Light when the bike is off. I'm also going to install a temporary splice off the harness for a radar detector? All this with out hacking the factory wiring.. Red LED Bulb 194 Bulb Installed... Not that my buell doesn't stand out in the crowd or attract onlookers..
Factory Headlamp Plug
Adapters, HD Factory Amp plugs and pins you need a open barrel crimper to properly crimp these..Wire is 16 Guage Marine grade tinned copper strand. Striped ends were retinned with a small small amount of solder, once crimped I hit the pins with the Iron to adhere the solder to the pin and then I applied heat shrink.. Yea I'm anal
The holy Grail of Modulators, the heads up model was pulled from the market.. At night it will let me hit the horn and modulate my lights briefly

The red is pretty slick Looks almost like a proper set of angel eyes. If I ever get around to spending 230$ for CF headlight bezels I plan put in a single right above the actual bulb housings hoping to create a similar effect. Post up a vid of the modulator in action if you can. |

Very tidy adapters. "If you're going to do a job, do it once and do it right". |
