hey coolice - thanks for pointing out that there's some pics and a story on buell.com here's a link to a story, and at the bottom of the page, a link to some pics on buell.com - the pics in fuell and online are mostly different though. http://buell.com/en_us/brag/adventures/recaps/2006/homecoming/homecoming.asp healing's going pretty good. it'll be 3 weeks this sunday, so eveything's coming "together". still moving slowly. started physical therapy this week to make sure range of motion, gait, and posture come back properly. had to cancel a trip to athens, GA where i would've been on road atlanta track learning from schwantz school monday , but this means i can walk down to summerfest all week long which is fun in its own way (and i havent been since 2001 when i lived in chicago and drove up for 1 day) having no plans (since i was supposed to be out of town) is actually refreshing. BG- glad to hear you feeling better. Have you heard from Julian? Yep I'm enjoying the "break" in the schedule too. Worked on bikes a couple nites ago, Blackhawk coming up. Don't push it yet, let yourself heal, then do the rehab stuff. You don't need to go backwards! Have a great 4th! Fiery on her way, we just hangin out for the weekend. |

julian's doing good as well. we've talked on the phone a couple of times. one of his funniest quotes was "well, gotta run, going to take a percocet and go mow the lawn". his wife, kids, and dog went out east for a planned vacation so he was on his own for a bit (though a general contractor (and friend) doing work on the house was there the whole time). i believe the family is back now. he was already talking about getting parts to fix his bike last week, as well as thinking about racing in july BHF. so, my guess is that his bike will be fixed soon and he'll be racing in july happy 4th weekend, D |

Hey Rocco, sorry I didn't see ya. The head wind was horrible. Can't wait to see the trailer! Hope you didn't get stuck in the northbound traffic, south of the toll booth. Can you believe it was backed up all the way to 20/51 exit and then to I-39. I bet there was major road rage going on. (Fiery in disguise) |

Hey Tom, Happy belated July 4th to you as well. Been busy with work, which I won't complain about.....too much. Also been busy with the new, to me, trailer. Purchased from the guy that drives the crash bike truck at Blackhawk. Super shape when I bought it. Just doing a little here and there to give it that personal touch. He installed a car stereo with a 7" DVD player into an overhead cabinet. Works pretty slick. He ran 120v outlets, 12v system run off it's own battery with a Power Inverter. Hell, it even has circuit breakers. Now the part. I won't be at the races July 15-16. My Sister is coming in from Arizona and her 20 year High School Reunion is that weekend and I'll be watching my Niece and Nephew. Her Husband stayed behind in Arizona...the big Jerk! I'm really thinking about going just for the Saturday races, but we'll see. We purchased 3 cots for the rainy weekend races to sleep in the trailer as well. So, when are we all getting together for a ride!?http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/125/10012618uw.jpg http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/4023/10012596rv.jpg http://img336.imageshack.us/img336/4383/10012571ye.jpg http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/4166/10012564nf.jpg |

Very nice Rocco. Hope you can make it at least one day. BG- gettin better? Rode the Uly with Fiery Monday, I enjoy it more every ride. The 9R hasn't been rode since it had its 10k maintenance, maybe time to make it a track bike? Or trade for a new 07? I know Fiery wants a drag bike....... |

No drag strip for me tonight - framing the basement takes the priority. I'll be there in two weeks though (baby dependent). I might even bring a bike I know how to ride. Wait, I haven't found one of those yet... Nice trailer Rocco! You going to do any racing in Aug. or is your next one Sept.? |

Is it drag race time again???? If I go I definitely will enter the money race. I know what the bike can do consistently, I will still loose because of my reaction time. But well see how things go this afternoon. Maybe see you down there. |

Going to try to sneak out for one day next weekend, but absolutely the Races after that. There's plenty of room for another bike. |

Oh and Jason, ya Dunderhead, I told ya to give me a call when you started your basement!!!! Yes to the August and September races. I was thinking of doing Gingerman at the end of this month, but I looked at their weekend schedule and it seems set up pretty damn stupid!! There is like 4 races Saturday and 18 on Sunday !!!???

Oh have no fear, there's plenty more to be done. The framing's done, now I just need to do the electrical, insulation, hang the doors, drywall, ceiling, lighting, and carpet. I haven't forgotten about your offer, I was just saving the fun stuff for you. How are you with drywall? |

Who went to the drag strip? Just Wes and myself that I know of. I was highly disappointed though. I was all set to enter the money race and the lady tells me money and trophy racing is only for Harleys and Buells. I was on my Kawasaki so all I could do is run for fun. Lets see, they call it "Bike night" and "Harley Shootout". Ok enough about that. Wes ended up going all the way to the last heat race and winning the money class. He is looking very good for points standings, keep it up Wes. Gosh I hope I got your name correct, one "S" or two???? Anyway it was a nice night, I got closer to breaking into the 11's with the Ninja. My best time so far 12.06 @ 113 mph. |

Drags went well...we won again! better still, #2 in the points went out first round. Also cool new development: all girls race sponsored by lil' Scott's customs. $50 pay out to winner...Bring it Fiery! |

Yikes! Nice job! That's got to give you a pretty good stranglehold on the points. |

Glad you were able to pick up the trailer! I thought it was set up pretty nice when I looked at it. Just got back from 7 days in NC. Long drive but worth it. |
