I want to replace the headlight on my X1 with a newer style headlight (clear lens, not fluted). I've come to find out that I was wrong in assuming it was a 7" headlight. Does anyone know of a source for these headlights? I'm getting tired of riding behind my harley friends at night, their headlights light up the world. By the way, anyone need a fancy 7" headlight? |

Try the blue high output Xenon 55/60W bulbs. |

I've tried every bulb imaginable. I'm currently running a bulb that says it's 4500k and it does work very well. It's white and bright, but that doesn't mean much when the light can't get out of the lens. I want to replace the headlight with what everyone seems to call a "euro" headlight. I want a clear lens, that is what it all comes down to. |

Joel, I've been considering the Moto Guzzi Breva headlight as a replacement for the stock unit. I think an oval light would compliment the bike's design and fit the stock flyscreen cut out. It is certainly larger than the vrod's headlight I had also been considering - I don't think I'd be happy with the fit of the vrod light since it is smaller than stock Buell. We don't have a dealership locally so it is waiting for a roadtrip to Boise or Denver for fitment research (might be too big, also wiring is a minor concern). Also have no idea of a price... |
