My speedo is acting weird. It does not register any speed until I am going about 30mph, then jumps up to about 20 and seems to track engine RPM and not speed. It goes up and down with engine rev's. I see in the knowledge vault that this is an old problem, there are lots of solutions, take the speedo off ignition power, add an inductor, a diode, extra ground wire to the voltage regulator. What's the collective thinking now days, what should I do? Just replace the sensor or is there another culprit? Thanks, Den |

check the wiring, first make sure that nothing is chafed and shorted check the ground for the front (ask me how I know) check the sensor, YOU have one to borrow? for a sub test? |

I will check the ground to the speedo and the voltage regulator too. The speedo completely died at lunch, otherwise everything seems normal. |
