Ok, put away your white wigs and gavels... my ngk iridiums didn't come with terminal nuts, just a threaded stud... and the HD stock plugs' terminal nuts were permanently attached (until they were introduced to a pair of pliers and some determination - not usable, in case u were wondering). what up with that? ive never gotten plugs without the terminal nuts (that 'snap' into the plug wires)...can u just pick up universal terminal nuts at the cage parts store or what?? -Coops |

Coops, I believe you got the wrong plugs. Seems like there's a different p/n for the plugs with the "permanent" terminal nuts. You can confirm at NGK's website. I guess you could buy 2 of the cheapest plugs you could find and rob the nuts off them if you have to. |

i'll admit, i didnt get the PN that the website recommends after following the advice of some badwebbers who use them. I guess the NGK website recommends plugs that are one heat range hotter than what Buell recommends, due to a change the factory made but NGK missed on or around when they started making the XBs. At any rate, I did get the DCPR9EIX, which is exactly the same part number as that recommended by NGK, except one heat range cooler. I would think the PN have an extra letter or something if it didnt have the terminal nut, wouldn't it?? |

Yeah mine came without them too, no biggie, just used the ones that came with my Champs. I mean any garage could probably give you a zillion for free. |

Cool, thanks. I'll probably just do that then. just a little frustrating... changing out my plugs and wires, a 30min project, is turning into a real PITA!! |

We have tried to get the DPR9EIX-9 plugs supplied with the screw on caps and just can't get hold of them. I just tend to make regular forays to an auto breakers yard and liberate a handful of caps every so often |

Hey Trojan - thx for straightening out the PN on those on a previous thread. I had to argue with the guy at the parts store to get the 9's as opposed to the 7's, the ones his all-knowing computer was telling him i needed. Very helpful. -Coops |
