Hi All, My name is Rich and I'm Glad I found you all. I live on Long Island... and I think I'm the only person on the Island who owns a Buell....lol Everyone else has Harleys or the japanese pocket rockets.. I'm not gonna lie.. if I had the money I probably would have gone with the Harley too.. but I don't..lol and there was no way I was going to buy a Jap bike as my new bike( not that I'm prejudice or anything.. but you got to be loyal to your country even if it means spending a little more money

Hello, Just wanted to drop a line and tell everyone of my wonderful purchase of my XB12R. This is my first Buell and my 5th bike and i must say this is the most classy head turner i have ever owned not to mention it performs like a dream! Any riders in San Diego please feel free to drop me a line. I only know 2 other Buell riders and one of them wrecked his bike. Thanks for having me this is awesome! Bradley |

Thanks all for taking time to say hello. Welcome! Great to see all the new visitors; hope to see some of your Buell photos and to hear about some of your Buell riding adventures. If you have any questions about contributing to the community here or anything else Buell related, please don't hesitate to ask. It's why we are all here, some of us going on eight years now. The "New Messages..." search option is by far one of the best ways to keep up with BadWeB. Please give it a try. |

Hi guys, just checking in. Currently have a Sporty, looking to add some type of Buell to the stable....not sure yet what model. Funds will dictate....looking at old tube frames, Lightnings/Cyclones, even maybe a Blast. Just want to keep getting info from everyone and make a good decision. |

Biker_girl - Welcome to BadWeb. I was in Waynesville last week. I own a Blast. It is not a powerful bike, but if power isn't what you're looking for, it's a great bike. I've also owned a Cyclone. That is a powerful bike and also a lot of fun to ride. Though in a very different way from the Blast. |

Hi everyone from a XB9SX owner from Scotland U.K. Owned loads of bikes in my time, got into American bikes with a 1200 sporty in 2000, now own a softail and my little XB it's ideal for the twisty roads over here a real blast. Great site just thought I'd say Hi. The Buell brand is not so big over here and info short on the ground. |

Hi all, I just got a xb12x Uly, first bike in 24 years. Man, this thing is great. the 500 mile mark just isn't going to get here quick enough. I stopped at a Yamaha shop for some gloves, and the whole store piled out on to the street to see my Buell, employees too! it was great. This is the right bike for me, 6'3", 208lbs... like a glove! It's cool to hear from the world on Buell, Be safe!! |

Hey Ya'll, This site works for me in sooooooomany ways, I love it..In july of 04 my girlfriend bought a 98'S3T,stripped,chipped and canned with 5k miles, for me to rip and her to grip. We sat 2-up on a lot of sport bikes and crusiers prior to landing this Thunderbolt. Unlike most crusiers, with pegs at 7 or 8 o'clock high, I am most comfortable in the saddle with my feet at 6 o'clock. control issues? Yes THANK YOU. And most ricers with 9.5 or 10 o'clock torso position was not what felt good from the rip seat while 2-up. Believe me we both have survive 20 plus years on two wheels and this Buell had us DEER-IN-THE-LITES as soon as the deep V-Twin rumble reached our mellons, creating an instantaneous reaction of hand-to-wallet execution of dead presidents. Anyway, if you don't get my text.WE own it, IT owns the corners. Our ERIC TUBER was Just what our Marriage needs, so much in fact we recently scored a NEW XB12Scg. Man, this bike is LOW-TO-GO in the Derby City. We'd love to rip with some local Buellers' just reach out at (502)494-8160 and maybe we'll rip the Knobs together. Kuddos to the webheads who keep this site so tight. WHATCHOUTOUTTHERE< Wheeeeeeelllliiee C-Ya. COZ out. |

Wassup all! New Uly and lovin' it - finding any excuse to ride it! Lost my '03 Suzuki Bandit to an unattentive lane-changing cager (I came out fine). Wanted to try something new and American! Could've gone with a Sportster, but think the Uly will be a better commuter/all-arounder. Cheers! Oh, and Happy 4th! (Message edited by ulyboy on July 04, 2006) |

Hello! Long-time lurker, first-time poster. I was without a bike for 17 years, but the Firebolt kicked at the darkness 'til it bled daylight. Thanks very much to all the helpful and knowledgeable forum members here for all the valuable information. |

I can't seem to sign in so maybe I can post here. Ok I've been looking at Buell for a first bike. I don't have much street experience and my dirt experience is about 10 years ago. I've been looking into a blast but am afraid I might not like it after a year (or less) I love the way the XB12Scg sounds in the write ups I've read. One of the key things for me is fit. I am pretty sure I could take on more power in a first bike but I only stand 5 foot even. Any suggestions? And should I go to the dealer or buy used? pros-cons anyone? |

Afternoon, all ! This is Bill.... I've come here for {hopefully} some accurate info and good natured conversation as well. Though in no way a beginner {32 bikes owned and licensed since 1971}, I really want a Blast and NEED to know not whether all the horror stories are true but simply whether they've finally fixed whatever problems they've had !!! I haven't come to "instigate", just looking for real answers... Best, Bill |

Plenty of Blast riders here. No horror stories that I know of. Be careful to who you listen on such issues. One disgruntled and ignorant customer posting to his web log under a number of pseudonymns does not a horror story truly make. See the "Thumper Forum." |
