I ran my S3 into the 11's last night for the 1st time (11.98 @ 113.41 mph) and I sent home a TL1000 in shame! Yes I already posted this on the quick board, but I am like the 75 year old guy who had sex with the 25 year old woman- I'm telling everybody!

Thanks! I see from your profile that you have some mods on yours, I would love to see what they are good for in the 1/4! Do you have a better photo of your Borla exhaust? I believe that is what I have, but nobody has been 100% sure. I have also had some trouble with fitting/mounting on the front of the pipe and would like to see how yours is mounted. |

A TL1000 kicked my ass last week end. He has a longer swing arm, race ecm and some other mufflers and he had a 10.4 sec run. My S1 needs to lose some weight..... |

10.4 is a stout run! It would take more than losing a few pounds to catch that one! I do not know what a TL is supposed to run stock? I'm sure it is quicker than my bike, and he was a nice guy, but you hafta be able to ride it! |

He has a longer swing arm, } all other things being equal this is a big difference, allowing the rider to launch harder. apples and oranges |

apples and oranges..... Not quite, my bike has a 7" longer one as well. My bike is around 475lbs and a standard TL around 400lbs? My launch was better but those TL's have a good acceleration from the 1/8 to the 1/4 mile. |
