Just curious, did Buell or other aftermarket companies ever make a tank mask/bra for the X1? There is a guy bringing his bike into the repair shop that rents off of me. He saw the mask on my XB and wanted to know if one was available for his. TIA, Dan |

Buell did. I would ask Daves if he can track one down for you. Other wise, I see them pop up on E-bay from time to time. They've been going for around $30-40. (Message edited by phatkidwit1eye on June 22, 2006) |

Toona, it was called the phantom mask I believe. I had one on for awhile, but it left a black mark on the tank (the tank cover was white) |

Aye.... On my black tank it left a long scratch along the top. It's from the leather (pleather) tube that runs along the top of the mask. The rest of it had a felt like backing that didn't scratch. It looked nice, until the Buell logo faded and the stitching started to fray. |
