Is there a kit with all the bolts / drain plugs pre drilled for safety wiring? For the most part the only thing that looks difficult is how to wire the axles. I'm hoping that our track will accept wiring only the pinch bolts. |

Not sure about a kit but the parts manual has the fastener specs in it so you could source your own. The specs are only for the non-specialized fasteners (ie. regular cap-screws, bolts, nuts etc.). Cheers Brett |

There are jigs available for safety wiring bolts. They are worth while. Buy lots of 1/16 jobber drill bits for safety wiring. and be sure to center punch if you are drilling it without the jig. As far as pinch bolts,CCS/ASRA has had no problems with our front axle having just the pinch bolts wired and we've passed tech many times. Our rear is a Hal's chain conversion and it is safety wired normally. (Message edited by diablobrian on June 21, 2006) |
