Out yesterday for a ride. I pulled out from a stop sign and made a left turn. Mid turn, the bike cut out. Quick troubleshooting found that the 20A starter fuse was blown. I replaced it, started the bike. The fuse didn't blow when starting but blew as soon as I hit the throttle. I had the bike towed back to my house using the BRAG roadside assistance (on a side note, it took almost 3 hours to get the truck to me) and now I'm wondering where I should start looking. I had the bike in for inspection two weeks ago. I put another 200 miles on the bike since then with no problems. The only thing "different" was I put my bra/zipper protector back on the bike the night before. I took it off when I took it in for service. There is a nylon strap that goes around the front of the tank and the back goes under the tank mounting bold via a metal eyehole. At this point, I want to get the bike back running. I'm planning on trading it in on the first Black Ulysses I find. Thanks. Jeff '00 S3 Thunderbolt |

Check the relay right under the seat and the rear gas tank area, where the straps go. You might be pushing something together that should not be touching. |
