I cleaned out the garage and have a lot of parts that need to go. Some parts have road rash or scratches but here's the list:
-Lightning heads
-Carbon fiber borla muffler (2.5"-no brackets)
-Blue/Wh Stripe X1 tank cover (good condition)
-(2) Red X1 tank covers (both have peeled paint on the left side)
-Red chin fairing
-Yellow chin fairing
-S1 manta fuel tank (needs painted-no rash)
-S1 small fuel tank (needs painted-no rash)
-S1 solo tail (needs painted-no rash)
-S1 solo seat (weird color brown.orange piping)
-X1 side plastics (little rash)
-X1 rear plastic hugger fender
-X1 stock trimmed undertray
-(2) stock pulley covers/swingarm brace (1 is trimmed & 1 is 96 style)
-old style rotor (probably bent)
-S1 rear Brembo caliper (1996)
*many misc parts (look at pics). If you see something you need just let me know. Some of the parts are FREE (just pay s&h), and some I'm taking offers. Pics are here:

I'm interested in the aluminum footpegs and the switches/housings for left and right (with throttle sleeve).

Do they fit an '02 X1 and how much you want for 'em?

on the 1230 pic. i need the kickstand with good rubber and pin, both back brake reservoirs,rear master cylinder,heim joints and front isolator, left and right switch blocks with throttle cables and clutch cable, bar end mirror. let me know how much and where to send.

Road _thing, I e-mailed him about the solo tail on 6-8-06 @ 2:23 pm.
I want to make my cherry lo-mile '98 S1 more like the '96. '98 has twin tail & big tank. Hoping I beat you to it, but---??
Where did he go?
Got a reply on 6-9
Told him I would go for it on 6-10.
Ain't heard a thing from him since, and see he has not been back here.
Anybody know him? He has only 7 posts here.
Man, I haven't posted here in years.

Tom_s, I haven't heard from him. My post above was the only communication I've had on the tail section. I assumed he's changed his mind about selling, or maybe sold it locally.

He sent me the parts I asked for and they arrived just fine. I also used paypal and sent him $25.00 for my parts. I had no problems with hime at all, so maybe he went on vacation or something. Hopefully nothing bad has happened.

I haven't been on vacation (I wish), just been real busy.
Ragnagwar: I actually did email you on the Z bracket letting you know that it wasn't mine (isn't in the pics right?) and it should now be on the way. Did you not get that email????

Smoke: your parts are also on the way as we speak (UPS).

As far as everything else, there were some things that sold and I had already deleted the emails. I'm the money talks, bull s**t walks type guy and the first person that pays gets the stuff.
