Heartland park is having motorcycle races this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There will also be a track day next Saturday and Sunday by Sportbike track time. I plan on being there both Saturday's. If you have never 'track dayed' SBTT has one of the cheaper classes, $20 I think. I don't work for any of these people, just the more sucessful these events are the more likely they will continue. | ||

Next Saturday they're havin track day?? Count me in! Can't decide if I should change my rear tire before or after track day, still got a few hundred "normal" miles left on it. Don't know how bad it would get on the track, of course I'd mostly be using the sides where all the rubber is anyways...? Still don't wanna tear up a new tire until I have to... | ||

What I learned: Just because you have an ass, it does not mean you you should show it off no matter how drunk others are, especially if it looks anything like what was seen last night. Just because you see a girl out of the corner of your eye with a fuel shirt on and big boobs, it does not instantly mean that she is a waitress or even anywhere close to being hot. Excuse my spelling on this next one, but hoggin(sp) sounds like a shit load of fun and I can't wait to try it out with you guys. I don't know what time you guys are planing on leaving on the ride tomorrow from fuel, but I won't be able to make it up there until at least 8, so if your still around, cool, but if not no big deal. | ||

"Can't decide if I should change my rear tire before or after track day" HPT seems to be more abrasive than other tracks in the area. Two track days on my superCorsas at two different tracks netted about a third loss of rubber. Another 1 and one half at HPT and I had erased all of the tread and more off of the sides, so I had to quit. The track side vendor had ran out of tires. If you still have near new tread on the sides and you are running more street orientated tires as compared to DOT Race, you should be okay. I'm going to get Diablo Corsas tonight from racersupply at the track as I think they will last longer than the supers, as I am playing and not racing, anyway. Glad to hear you will be there next week. I'm an old guy with a black 04 12R. | ||

Rhun, Thanks for the tip. Really anxious to get out to the track, as I've never been before. Drake and Larry really rubbed it in my face last month when I couldn't go with them. Missed it a couple days ago as well. We'll see about next Saturday. Looks like it's a 3-day school. Can you just pay to go one day? | ||
