Our next meeting will be Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at Shelton's HD/Buell in Goldsboro. Fair warning, we need a director. Those not in attendance open themselves up for being appointed by those who are there |

Meeting notes from our meeting on May 20th. First off it was decided that Brankin and I will be co-directors sharing the responsibilities of the directorship and assistant-director positions. Next, we have decided not to collect dues. We have been back and forth on this issue, but I think we have defined the group's stance on the topic a little better. If we come up with a reason to raise money, we will do fund raising for it. Until then, we will continue as we have with each member paying as we go. John Martindale has offered help on setting up a Brag page on Shelton's Web site and setting up Poster Boards in the stores. We need to collect photographs for the Web page and poster boards. At the meeting we discussed how the four stores of Shelton's will help C3 get the word out to other Buellers in North Carolina about the group. Since C3 is mostly a Badweb riding group, the official side of C3 BRAG will just help us reach out to other Buellers that do not know about us. We list some of the up-coming rides that we want to do. 5-27-06 - The Ferry Ride Kristi and I are hosting this ride. As the name states, we will be riding two ferries that will carry you over the mouths of the Tar and Neuse rivers. 5-27-06 - Homecoming 1313 will be riding to Buell headquarters in Wisconsin for Homecoming. Anyone interested in riding along PM 1313 for details. I believe he is going to catch up with Aydenxb9 on the way up. 6-6 thru 6-9 - Tall Ships in Morehead City Rubberdown has put this up. 6-10 - Our next meeting date plus the Harley Stunt Riders. On top of the meeting in Goldsboro, we can take a good ride on back roads down to Jacksonville New River Harley Davidson and catch the 4pm show of the Harley Davidson Stunt riders there to celebrate the dealership's second anniversary. |

I think our meeting is canceled for tomorrow. I am on daddy duty until Kristi gets back in town tomorrow, so I will not be able to make it. Brankin is also away so I guess we will have to try again another day. You guys should still talk about the stunt show. Have fun. |

Welcome Brian! You've found a great group of guys to ride with. In fact, I believe that they are planning a BRAG meeting for the last weekend of this month. Watch this thread for further details. Explore all of C3 folders as you will find most anything happening in NC is posted here. Welcome aboard and look forward to meeting you. Kristi |

Since we are so spread out it is usually parts of the group that get together and ride. During the season I think you will find that just about any weekend somebody in the group is getting together. We usually will wander back and forth around the state. In April we rode passed Fayetteville to Morrow mtn, then in May and July we got together and rode the coast. Three of us got together for the Smokeout in Salisbury in June, then last week several in the group around your area and Raleigh got together for a ride around Raleigh. We are planning a BRAG meeting in Goldsboro sometime in the near future and we usually ride together afterward. In September we are planning to catch up with Brat Pack II ride in the mountains Virginia, and then we have a Western NC trip planned for October. Just surf the Carolina Corner Carvers pages and see what is happening. Welcome aboard! |

Fayetteville is about an hour south if you take I-40 -> I-95. Thats a rather boring way to get there though. When we went riding the first time, we were about 10 miles north of Lillington which is half way between Raleigh & Fayetteville. That would be more interesting trip, though it would take longer. |

Hey Toxic, welcome to the group. There is a toy run from Fayetteville to Durham coming up soon (it may actually be tomorrow.) At least u4euh is going to be in it. I did it last year and had a good time. I'll hunt the archives and see if I can find a date in case you're interested. |

Alrighty folks! I talked with John Martindale @ Shelton's today and he has received the 2007 literature (both Buell and, for those so inclined, the Harley-Davidson stuff). So this means that the time is right for our next meeting. As tradition goes, Saturday at 11:00 @ Shelton's H-D/Buell in Goldsboro is our regular time. So, come one, come all, and join us this Saturday, July 29th @ 11:00 a.m. @ Shelton's H-D/Buell in Goldsboro, NC. After the meeting I am thinking a ride to Holland's Shelter Creek Fish Camp Restaurant will be in order for a late afternoon lunch/early dinner. Of course this will be by way of Old Maple Hill Road! Further details on the schedule between Goldsboro and Old Maple Hill Road as Carlos and I nail them down. I hope to see everyone there! 1313 |

Meeting -- I think everyone has been so busy playing that no one has even thought about a meeting! We did received updates from BRAG. Guess I'll need to update the book and actually read the updates and see what's changed. I'll ask Carlos and have him post something! Kristi |

How does September the 9th sound to everyone? Maybe we can have the meeting and then a ride just like last time. Maybe we can end up in Grifton for a cook out. What do you think? |

PERFECT! I've been looking for an excuse to leave Family Day at work early. Just like last year it will be a BRAG meeting taking me away from all the 'squares' at work. And the cookout in Grifton sounds fantabulous! My $0.02, 1313 |

September 9 is when the Salute Ride for Veterans (in Kinston) is. Webe will be busy with that. |

Uh-oh times 2! I knew September 9th stuck in my head for another reason. I think the dealership will be way too busy for us to have a meeting as it is Shelton's 'National Open House'. Sure, I'd like to demo some of the new '07 H-D's - see how poorly a V-Rod with a 240 handles and feel the torque of the new Twin Cam 96, but as for a meeting I think there will be too much other activity at the dealership. I'd still be up for the cookout, too!!! 1313 |

Webe'sBG - Yeah, we were talking at lunch. It is also Shelton's Open House. So why don't we do the Salute ride that Britt Motor Sports may be sponsoring, then we can check out Shelton's Open House. We can have the meeting the next Saturday, September 16th. What do you think? |
