I bought a 2003 Blast this past summer. I was not thrilled when my girlfriend decided she wanted to start riding it, mainly because she had dumped one of my bikes before, but hey, everyone deserves a second chance right? Well, a couple of weeks ago I got the call while at work.... yes, that's right, she had dumped the bike. She was not hurt but the bike has a bad case of road rash. After meeting with the insurance adjuster, and waiting to hear back from them, I decided to start looking for replacement parts on the web. I can't stand it!!! Bin Laden would be easier find than parts for my blast. Can anyone help? |

Ebay has parts occasionally, also depending on what you need. There is a parts lot on Ebay right now. Just be careful, ask Seller specific questions, and don't pay more than ordering new. |

Call DAve at the Appleton HD/Buell 1-920-757-1651 We bad webbers get a discount and he is ontop of the buells as far as parts. Other than to tell him whats broke he will completely understand what it is you are asking and know what else may have to be checked and replaced. Sandy |

Most everything you need will come up on ebay. Body parts are always on ebay as well as some really good deals and some outright rip offs! If your in a hurry check out the dealers previously mentioned. |

Hey there everyone, The tank on my 01 Blast cracked where it fits under the retention pins on the frame. So I am in need of a new Fuel tank. I am located in Howell Michigan. Drop me an email if you have one, or know of one for sale. Thanks Grizz |

Normally I would agree with you about ebay. I few months back there were several. Now I have been watching for the past couple of weeks and nothing. The tank was cracked when I bought the bike, and I didn't know it. Looks like the previous owner tried to remove the tank without pulling the the rubber sleeves off of the retention pins. The crack is only an issue when the tank is filled, after I burn off about 50 miles it's ok. Also it only leaks when the bike is parked, but it leaks right down onto the exhaust and that scares me to be honest. I am considering some sort of epoxy if I can't find a tank soon. |

At autobody shops there is a tool called a "Plastic Welder" I believe it is a stream of superheated air and plastic welding rod that is used to repair plastic parts that rip like fenders off a Saturn or dash parts. I have used a soldering iron and extra plastic in a pinch before. The other option is "JB Weld" That stuff is tough and I am sure would fix the tank crack provided the surface was roughed up and cleaned with brake cleaner. I might go as far as to add some sort of mexh material into the mix like gortex or fiberglass. |

Hey, guys, have the girlfriends take an MSF course before they get on the bikes. Even if they don't pass, they can take the damage out on the school bikes. Those bikes are used to it. |

Does anyone know where I might find a replacement muffler for my V&H SS2R exhaust system on my kids 01 Blast? I always thought it was little on the loud side (Louder than any other Bike I have with a V&H system on it). Anyhow I am do a minor overhaul to her bike and I pulled the entire exhaust system, and the muffler is pretty well trashed. It rattles when you shake it, and that is never a good sign. Anyhow if anyone has the track on a V&H SS2R muffler only, new or used at a reasonable price drop me a line. |

Have you tried contacting V & H directly for replacement parts? I have a lot of success in getting replacement parts that way. Other mufflers will fit with some creative (minor) rear exhaust hanger. |

I need a carb or some carb parts. I'm missing the enrichner, TPS and cable on a basket case I just bought. Will consider a Mikinui or CV carb conversion if it makes sense. Also could use a horn. |
