I really like the way my bike (9R) feels and handles when I'm two up, as opposed to riding alone. What does this say about my suspension set-up? What changes might/could/should I make for solo riding? |

It might say you like being held. Try weighing yourself with all your gear, and setting up using the manual. Or get with a friend and set up the static sag manually. Sounds like you've got it set way too stiff. |

How does it feel different? You probably need to reduce the rear preload or soften the rear compression. |

Two up increases the ratio of sprung weight to unsprung weight giving a more comfortable ride and seemingly more supple suspension, with the same spring and damping. |

How does it feel different? Can't put my finger on it or I'd have described... It's not like it feels bad when one up - two up just feels nicely planted, accurate. |
