Well, facing another year tour in Iraq and will have to put my XB9R away for a year in the next few weeks. Understand the basics of what to do, but any suggestion from the group or lessons learned with long term storage? Thanks, Chad (Message edited by Stryker_buell on June 10, 2006) (Message edited by Stryker_buell on June 10, 2006) |

The thorough way: http://www.hurlburt.af.mil/basewide/sentinels/docs/store_winterize.doc http://www.motorcycleanchor.com/motorcycle/how_to/mc_storage.html The casual way: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/maintenance/motorcyclewinterstorage.htm http://www.procycleonline.com/service/winter_storage.html And lock it to a floor anchor in a reliable friend's garage if you can. Or sell it now during riding season and save up for the 2008 (or leftover 07 or 06) model of your dreams. |

Selling might not be a bad idea.....2008 is Buells 25th anniversary. I'll bet Erik comes up with something awsome. |
