Twig, Thanks for the compliment. I think she still looks pretty good for having 30k miles on the clock. She's holding up better than I am. |

Some 'teaser' pics from Homecoming. Just a dirty ol' V-Rod parked by some sign:
Why is this sign so interesting?
When I arrived at the track I parked somewhat near the large demo trailer (both were there - and this one, at least, won't be re-decaled until another month hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
Larry would be happy that the V-Rod is clean in these pictures...
Boy do I like black on a Buell!
Carlos, you remember Jeff from Daytona Beach Bike Week 2005? You probably don't remember his lizard, Pegasus, though.
Lot's more cool stuff to condense, but seeing as how I am just getting caught up with 'life' after getting back at 11:30 last night and the fact that I will be leaving EARLY Friday morning for a weekend in Wichita, I am not sure how soon I will have more ready to post. Lots of cool stuff, so it will be worth the wait. 1313 |

Now if it is going to be re-decaled, we know to stick the next one on the bike somewhere. But then again, this one is still there. |

I just dropped the Blast. I stalled it pulling away from a stop sign and was already leaned over. Both it and I are unscathed, but I didn't feel like riding any more today. |

It's funny that no one has taken the decal off! I wonder how many people have noticed it. JimN - sorry to hear about you and the Blast. Glad to hear that you and bike are OK though. Kristi |

It's still on there? !!!! Yes it is! Since it was still on the trailer I decided to ask Gary Cravillion (the man in charge of the Buell demos) about it. He said that he had noticed it, but thought it looked good so he didn't remove it! Gary and his wife Lois are 2 of the finest people you can ever meet. As Carlos and Spike and maybe a few others can attest to, their hospitality is first rate. If we are ever at an event where they are at have me introduce you to them, or if you happen to be at an event by yourself just intorduce yourself and mention my name and they'll take good care of you. From another friend working the Buell demo trailer at Homecoming I was given a nice sub sandwich, bag of chips, bottle of water (Man did those ever help me with my hangover...) and a few cans of Red Bull. Thanks again to Southern_Marine for coming up with such a great design! Sorry to hear about this being 'Crash your Blast! Week', although it is good that nobody has gotten seriously hurt. 1313 |

Gary and his wife Lois are 2 of the finest people you can ever meet. I met Lois in Minneapolis a couple summers ago. She truly is one of the nicest people I've ever met.

That is too funny. Yes, Southern Marine thanks for the great design. You know we need to get Blake to get us a C3 Icon. Jim - Sorry to hear about the blast. I am glad you and the bike are okay. WEBE is finding the power or Badweb. He posted a list of parts he needs for Ellen's blast and to his astonishment, he had e-mail for every part on the list by this morning. He is ready to turn it into Thunder Blast! Or is that Lightning Flash Blast! Or is that S3P3 (CP3O)! |

Sportymark - Thanks. Were your ears burning Saturday? Your name came up in a conversation with ezblast. He wants you to build a turboblast. I managed to break the boot on his Blast twice by putting my knee on the intake. We speculated that Laura's boot would be better. I ordered him two this morning. |

Ya'll are welcome. I need to get one of those. Is anyone coming down Saturday for the NRHD event here in Jacksonville? I think I'm gonna clean my bike up and enter it in the free bike show contest. I have to work that night, but I still plan on being there. I will be heading to Dallas on Monday. I have a job interview out there. If all goes well, then in Dec or Jan I will be working down there. Man I hope it works out. |

Southern - good luck. E-mail (suareznc5@earthlink.net) me your address and I'll mail you a decal. Carlos is on Daddy duty this weekend, so he probably won't make the open house. Kristi |

hi ya'll... just back from the homecoming, it ended up being a little 2774 mile jaunt. Many thanks to Brankin for showing us the way to Hal's & back, with the stop at original Buell 'factory'. Brankin took us on the scenic route, and it was a very enjoyable ride. 1313, we looked for you before we left the Buell factory, but didn't see you, sorry we missed you for the rest of the trip. Here's a pic from the Buell factory parking lot

Southern - I may take the two little ones down in the car. I have not made up my mind. It's 90 minutes in the car that the kids could be doing something different. I also may be going down to see an old college buddy in Wilmington tomorrow night anyway with the family. |
