I have a Black/Gold Rim XB12SS and I am trying to decide between changing the rims to black or silver. I like the black (found some pics of that), but perhaps a little brightening would look good too. I can find pics of the silver rimmed R's with the silver painted frame (fuel tank), but I'm curious what it would look like on the dark gray frame like mine. Anyone have any pics? I tried photoshopping it - but after over an hour of frustration I gave up!! (my photochopping skills are a bit lacking!). Thanks!

I haven't photochopped it, but I am thinking of polishing the rims of my Amber wheels, and then painting the center spoke section black.

My buddy Gerry did that to his black and silver Kawi, and it looks nice: The polished rims need a little cleaning now and then, but the black spokes don't look dirty ALL the time like the ambers do.
