Girlie, Is the Road Atl. going to be a track day or race with CCS? I've never done Road ATl. even though I live 20 minutes from the track. I have it on my list of "things to do" I'd like to try to make it to the WERA "Cycle Jam" race on 6/29-7/2 that is a big race weekend in the south for WERA. Smoke, Get code from SMHD Go to www.privatetracktime.com Then register with the web site. Its very easy... Follow the "Instructions" |

Go Dora! From what I've seen these women only events do well, and attract more women riders that don't want to feel like they are competing with the guys, or feel like they will be looked down on as "just a girl". women have been a neglected segment in the motorcycling community for a long time. I'm glad there is finally female specific riding gear available. It hasn't been until the past 5 years or so that I've been able to find gear for my wife that passed muster as more than just "fashion leather". And not just the leather halter tops...although those do have their own merit. (Message edited by diablobrian on May 29, 2006) BDWD......... We have alot of ladies that are very fast in the south. I get my AZZ kicked by Sara "WERA Expert" every time I go up against her. We also have several fast mountain riding ladies as well, its always cool to see a female with a 'Girlie Pink or baby blue suit' drag a knee uo there. By the way Buellgirlie, you know I was playin' with you. You should know me by know. You'll probably see a few ladies with Twistie Sisters riding club at Road Atlanta. They have a event at the T.W.O Resort in Suches G.a every fall. Its a blast...They put us men to work at the event and we wash bikes for beer. What happens at T.W.O, stay at T.W.O |
