Just a quick question for all the riders using mobil 1syn 15-50, I have been using it since early spring. It was real easy to get the bike started and seemed to get up to temp quick in the cold mornings. But should I go back to the 20-50 since its starting to get mid 80's and low 90's? Also its about 85 right now and took a long city ride and when I parked it the fan only ran for about 10 seconds. Not a serious issue just thought I would ask.

Cmm213 - either oil is fine, the lower oil number refers to cold (like freezing temp maybe) start viscosity. Since both are designed to function as a 50 weight oil at operating temperature they are both equally viable.

Yup, I actually prefer the M1 15W-50 to 20W-50. I use it year 'round!
