Fellas, Thanks for making my last ride in KC a memorable one! Lee (always being prepared) fixed my rear tire on the side of the road in front of the Slow Ride Saloon in Lawrence. I took a 3" framing nail right in the tread! The tire seems to be holding air fine now. I am glad you were with us since you had the repair kit and pump.  Oh, and Larry is getting pretty good (and brave!) with those wheelies.  | ||

Drake, I'm glad I went along too. You looked pretty bummed standing there on the side of the road. The funny thing about it for me was remembering that I had considered leaving the tail bag at the house. I wanted to hose the bike off at a car wash before meeting up with you guys and didn't want to mess with removing the bag to wash under it. As it turns out, I decided to take it and just not wash under it. Neat little twist of fate, I reckon.  Anyway, it was great fun riding with everybody. | ||

Had a great time last night guys... Drake, maybe fate was trying to tell u something last night when you picked up that nail, trying to stop u from getting back home and going to Tulsa! No but seriously, you've been a great friend to hang out with and shoot the bull, always there to lend a hand and join me for a ride. I know we've both learned a lot from each other and the guys. I wish u all the best of luck down in Tulsa. I know you'll be up here workin for a lil while, you'll have to truck your bike up in the next couple months so we can give it another shot. What's the weekend looking like for everybody else? I need to upgrade my A/C on the bike, that's for sure! | ||

Just a heads up for you guys. The OP police force is apparently tired of sportbikes hauling ass and riding wheelies up and down 119th and 135th, so they are out in full force on those two roads. All I have to say is that I can't believe how immature and irresponsible some people are doing that kind of crap. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaha. That really is to bad because 135th is awesome for riding wheelies! | ||

yeah no kiddin...dang! I haven't been up 135th for like 5 days and there's almost a whole apartment complex built on the corner of quivira out there! It's amazing how fast they can put those things up! Seems like there's been a lot of those holes being filled in along the road out there. Too bad. I like causing destruction out there cause there's a grass median, which makes it harder for the popo's to flip a bitch... Comin back from mickey's last night, there was one sittin in the normal spot right between quivira and pflumm, I almost forgot to look and caught that bastard at the last second. Can u blame me for doin wheelies for boobs?? | ||

Hey everybody...just wanted to let you know we made it down to Broken Arrow today. We close on the new house tomorrow and the movers show up on Saturday. It will be a weekend of unpacking for us. Can't really believe we are already gone. Larry - Someone already invited us to come to the Rhema(sp) church with them (like you said!) People are real nice down here and real religious. It was our bus boy at dinner, too. So...when does everyone want to come ride Arkansas!? | ||

i think 3 or 4 of us welcome to the board EriK so it was you that i saw last week on state line near 435 blue firebolt. you didn't see me i was on a test drive at work. i usually show up at fuel on wed. and fri. they got good burgers and fri. only $1. was it drake that ya'll helped out yesterday? wish i would have known would have been more than happy to help out. i know how much it sux to move. Drake - wish i could have rode with ya one last time before you moved. but arkansas is awsome going to go back at least 3-4 more times this summer if not more. eric | ||

Court got banned? I gotta read that one. Just checkin in on the KC guys as I am bored sitting in a hotel in Santiago. First badweb visit in several months, since Blake diagnosed me via my writings on Badweb. You guys sound like your having way too much fun. Sold my S1 and am in deep depression so I batter the wife (ain't got a dog - she gave it away.) Gotta go find Court banned posts.... too funny. Is Lowflyer still around... I bought a Quest. Wonderful device, except the maps for other countries are too expensive. We call her Agnes, and she speaks British. Y'all be safe. | ||

Be carefull because after you see some of the tricked out Buells on this site you will start spending your money on the bike like it is nothing.
