I like Gunk with citrus to clean up my greasy harley based bike. DaveS at Appleton Wis HD is Da Mann... I buy most of my parts from him because they are in stock, discounted, and the people that answer the phone are courteous and knowledgeable. My local dealer is normally a pain in the non-corbin seat area except for one guy. Appleton gets me parts about 10 days sooner than my local guys. Try em....Den |

Who'd you buy the bike from? Hal's usually does well, but they can get booked up during the summer. Suburban also can do well, but likewise they also can get booked up in the summer. I've had stuff done at both, and bought parts from both. Daves is up at Appleton H-D/Buell, has the Buell demo fleet up there today and tomorrow, and is sponsoring some activities next Friday evening/late afternoon for the Buell Homecoming. They might be able to fit you in on a ride-n-wait deal if it's just the rocker covers that need replacing. You'd have to call and confirm that though. Apart from Hal's and Suburban that's about it for Milwaukee unless you want to head down south to Kenosha to Uke's or to Racine (I've never been to the shop in Racine). Next options are Madison, Sauk City, and Illinois since West Bend may or may not be functionally out of the Buell business. Milwaukee H-D dropped out of Buell. House of Harley, well, were they ever really into the Buell scene apart from Blasts? Hal's, Suburban, Daves @ Appleton. For washing I just go to the car wash, but some people flip out at that so I rarely admit to it, and usually keep my helmet on and visor down when there.
