Ok, I'm tired (not really) of looking at endless photos of X1's, S1's,S2's, M2's.... You get the idea! it's time to post photos of the most comfortable, most sophisticated and fastest of the S series the S3! I've recently come into an extra set of faded fairing bags that I will send for free including shipping to whomever posts the best S3 picture! I am the sole judge and my decision is final. Extra points are awarded for (in no particular order): burnouts scenery knee dragging racing T & A

Nice, nice bike but big, big deduction for the garage shot though! I'll keep it going by posting a new one of mine with the fender eliminated.

OK Scott, Although I take exception to some of your claims, (LOL) I'll play your silly little game. (Although I disqualify myself for the prize because my "Collector Series" Thunderstormed S2 is already equiped with fairing bags) I shot these pics at Homecoming 2005. Hope you enjoy... Here's a nice piece of tail for ya... Action shot... and my personal favorite...

Lake's pic prompted me to go look for a action pic of my own. High on the to-do list this year is to get a pic with the new muffler!
Oh yeah, and some real riding gear, too. |

So that's what the stock muffler looks like. Wow, that's huge! Yeah, it looks like you need at least some boots, though some pants would be good too. I can recommend JR Alter Ego pants- they work great over jeans even in warm weather (they circulate air well but keep some of the engine heat off of you). Nice action pics guys, keep posting! |

Nice v2win, I like the race exhaust and silver stripe. Now if you had a picture of you dragging a knee with all that stuff still on the bike (or better yet- stuff flying off!)..... |

More S3 Deal's Gap photos. These are my bike being ridden by a crazy Englishman from France (otherwise known as the lovable Mr. Grumpy).

Scott Said: "it's time to post photos of the most comfortable, most sophisticated and fastest of the S series the S3!" I'll give you comfortable, and possible sopisticated, but fastet of the S series, cmon pal, everyone knows that S1W's are the fastest S series going. |

I was wondering when a non-S3 rider was going to bite on that bait! Lake, was Mr. Grumpy falling off, pointing to something in the road or trying to show you how they do it over there? I'd love to get my header coated, looks great! |

He was "waving" to the camera (I think). As for the "fastest" of the S series...I have to agree that my S1W feels faster. But it could be the Mikuni Carb, Race intake, Daytona BOSS pipe, Crossroads race bars and Buell Pro Series rear sets. While I call her "Marilyn", the rest of the world calls in the "Pretzel Maker"

I guess you never rode a real sportbike then, hey Scott? I used to own a RC51 along with my Buell, and they both hurt my body a little bit. The Buell still hurts my ass after 2 or 3 hours of riding, and the RC was a little hard on the wrists after 1 hour, not so bad every where else. I could do 500-600 miles on the RC. I even rode my Buell to Homecoming one year. That was an expiernce. |

I guess you never rode a real sportbike then, hey Scott? I did, but what was a "real" sport bike 20 something years ago is a sport touring bike today! I love the riding position on my S3. I recently swapped rides with a friends GSXR 1000. Uncomfortable and slow, that is slow until you drop a couple of gears and hit the power band! Which was all but impossible in the light highway traffic we were in. In the mean time I could hear him going from about 4k to redline repeatedly on my S3! I could tell he was having more fun on my Buell then I was having on his Gixxer! Great action shots Jose' |
