Hi Guys,

I am wondering if any of you have done this. If so, would appreciate your posting pix and comments on how you accomplished this.

I think it would look great but am just guessing at this point.

Hey bruce they can be polished- it will take you some time but can look very good. I dont have pics because I dont want to do it. But the best way to get the black coating off is a angle die grinder with a abrasive cleaning disk, they are small and look like a circle scotch pad. After you get all the black coat off use a DA sander and start sanding go all the way up to 1500 wet sand 2000 and buff with a buffing rouge I always used the white in the past. Then mothers it and it should look like a mirror. But everyone has different ways to polish aluminum- my two cents, good luck
