I noticed that there is a lot more noise coming from the air box since I installed the open air kit on my 06XB12Ss. I was wondering if I could put dynamat under neath the upper cover to keep the noise down. Any thoughts on this out there. |

As long as it didn't come unstuck and block off the air coming into the filter. That could cut your ride short. |

Just by the seat of my pants feel, I believe its much stronger. I have the new regular Drummer with billet end cap and a race ecm with the open air kit from American Sports bike. I think the hole package makes the bike better to drive and the sound is so cool. I just think you can hear the throttle body noise more with the open air box kit. I was hoping that someone has insulated the top cover for sound deadening. |
