that will be able to tell me when I can start buying XBRR parts? I know I have to wait until the production run is over but someone has got to be "in the know." |

You can only buy race parts through your dealer. Whatever deal you work is between you, your dealer and Buell Racing. You have to talk the dealer into violating agreements between them and Buell/HD... good luck there. If you had a race license, it'd be easier but I think you would still be asking your dealer to risk being cut off at the knees for dealing outside of normal channels (knowing RACE ONLY parts were going to be used on the street) - but hey, people sell crack outside of legal channels and a whole lot more people smoke crack than race Buells... (not that racing Buells is a bad thing!) Or you can wait in the hope that this stuff will be out for sale "over the counter" sometime in the future. Or get your race license, establish a relationship with a dealer and USE the hardware on a racebike! Truthfully - if you NEED the HP that the bikes are capable of, you're much better off (and will spend less money) - putting together a big-bore/De-Stroked/big cam/big-valved/ conventional engine. Remember, the race engines get lots of power AND spin some pretty high RPM's compared to the streetbikes. |

Yohinan, I see you're in San Diego. Talk to Dave Finnerty out here at Willow Springs on a race weekend or at the shop there in Sandy Eggo. He runs San Diego HD/Buell and races at Willow too. Keep in mind, those RR motors are going to be costing something close to $18K (that's a number I've heard at the track, NOT a quote - and I'm certainly NOT connected at Buell in any way!!) |

Henry Duga would probably be the "right" guy to ask, but he's pretty busy with the RR project right now. |

Duga is the right guy to call if you have a race license and a dealer working with you. If somebody is trying to bootleg race hardware for street use, Duga is not really the right guy to call. Only dealers can buy from Buell racing since they're not setup to sell retail. |

Hogs - yeah... I'm such a jerk and didn't remember to get the file for the 1169 program. I'll be back home next Wednesday - my bad. I can't get my home email at work while on the road. |
