Don't care to drive an hour and a half to the Buell dealer (don't like them anyway), when I have a Harley dealer 5 minutes from my house. Searched the archives and it seems the best bet is to go with the OEM battery. Since the Harley dealer isn't a Buell dealer, does anyone know what the part number is on the battery for Harley? |

How is this one? I see it says it replaces both the aftermarket batteries you've listed: http://www.batteriesplus.com/pc-32749-59-XTREME%20PERMASEAL%20HIGH%20PERFORMANCE %20AGM%20POWERSPORT%20BATTERY.aspx |

Part number is 65948-00 and is indeed a V-Rod/Buell AGM sealed HD battery. They are about $65.00. |

Pcmodeler, I just put that battery in my bike. Seems to be good. The guy at Batteries Plus said it had a warranty for one year as long as you keep the receipt. |

If there is one available, would you guys consider a gel battery? |

the stock battery is a very well made High quality AGM battery and is most certainly NOT a "gel" battery. |

The Absorbed Glass Mat battery I think thats right, can be mounted upside down if you wanted to. It is a solid battery. |
