Allot of talk of the Revo engine in a XB, well how about a tail section from an R and a headlight from a S on a V-rod? I like it allot, but I own a V-rod and a Buell so it just makes sense. http://www.fiereks.com/fiereks_neu/cms/upload/galerie/window_15.php?6 |

hey smoothrod, if you really wanted another Buell, why didn't you just get one, instead of trying to make your Vrod into a second Buell... LOL that's why i bought two, an S and an R (Message edited by robino on May 09, 2006) |

Yea I wouldn't do this to V-rod only because I already have Buell. |

The bike looks good but it has a serious issue as far as I can tell. 1. The only reason in my book to ride a HD cruiser is to get laid. That bike has no passenger seat! just my 25 cents (damm inflation) |

I think it looks smooth, now they just need to incorporate the exhaust into the swingarm. Anythings possible right? |

Anyone notice the foot peg placement..... I think that's the standard peg placement for the SportRod. |

The mirrors look similar to Napoleons with a different head and rotated 90° |

sgthigg - Ya, kinda like that, but more covert like. Make it look like the factory swingarm, only not; and with the outlet being in the bottom so no-one notices it and is confused. Hurry Erik another Patent!!!! |

Sgthigg the mirrors are from rizoma. they are the REVERSABLE mirrors. Trojan has them in his website. check the sponsor section. i know this as i have them also. just not upside down like the ones pictured. (maybe mine are upside down?)check out my profile to see them on a xb12r |

I like it. It's a definite improvement on the stock V-Rod, that's for sure. |

I just see most custom stuff these days as a mix and match of bolt ons, and that V-dog is no exception, and it doesn't really work. Almost a silk purse into a sows ear. Rocket |

I just don't get the two flavors of orange (wheels, body). I'm no interior decorator (they don't ride Buells), but even I can see how wrong it is to combine two completely different flavors of Orange. Looks like it was inspired by a highway construction paint crew... But I kinda like it other than the color. It would have to handle though, or forget it. |

I like it except for the two tone orange and the race replica pipe that is on it. Put some drag pipes and match the orange on the body to the wheels and I would ride the crap out of that V-Rod. |

I wonder if it does wheelies? I bet it would be fun to try! |

Swingarm could be a little shorter. Gauge package needs to be more in the driver's face. I rode a street rod, and unless you are built weird, the guage package is nowhere near your LOS. Got to be careful with V rod pipes. Most pipes that are put on it actually lose HP and torque compared to stock. Duals out either side might do it better. Could cut the diameter of them somewhat so that they wouldn't be in the way. And either you have sport pegs, or you don't. The mid pegs HD uses aren't in the best position for me. Stretch |
