http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?productId=11196231&storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&langId=-1&addon=696925-683208 There ya go. I have cat eye bar ends, but they are not exactly like the ones in the link. I think I like these better. edit: copy/paste the link... cause I suck at the internet sometimes. I use the Third Eye mirrors, available at your local bicycle shop for about twelve bucks. They work great, and go on in about a minute. Just wrap the plastic bar ends in tape, and ease them out with a pair of pliers. Select the correct bar end rubber fitting from the package, and screw them in. If you have the Buell Traction grips, you will have to cut a hole in the end of the grips first. Here is one on my slightly modified XB9S. Since the mirror is slightly convex, you really only need one.

The new Third Eyes come with several different rubber "sleeves", so you don't have to do any tape wrapping. Great real glass mirrors and can be had on Amazon.com for only $10 bucks each.

I also have third eye mirrors on xb12ss. I picked them up at a local bike store for $8 bucks each. Mine also came with the different size rubber things. I used the larger size on inside and the smaller one on the outside. Snug as a bug in a rug! (only a true loser says snug!) Hard Corps |

just curious why anyone would pay insane amounts of money for motorcycle bar end mirrors when the bicycle ones are fine? are the ones made for motorcycles better? I just picked up a pair of the 3rd eye ones. |

just curious why anyone would pay insane amounts of money for motorcycle bar end mirrors when the bicycle ones are fine?) well thats an easy one...BECAUSE IT'S OUR CHOICE. i had a set (3rd eye) and removed them once i found something "I" liked. they work way better than the stockers do. but just were not my style. i like the unique look of alot of the after market mirrors out. thats why i have " payed insane amounts of money for motorcycle bar end mirrors." (and other items as well) i hate pulling into a place and seeing all the same parts on all the same bikes. i guess i just like to be different.(why i ride a buell i guess) all boils down to personal choice my friend. |

Hey Firebolteric_ma... i was being serious when I was asking not trying to debate I was just wondering if there was a difference between the 3rd eye round bar end mirrors and the other round ones made for motorcycles... I guess I should have worded my question differently. |

no debate taken bro!. the bike bar ends work fine. waaaaay better than stockers. stock are useless IMHO. either way you go (motorcycle or bicycle) will be a GREAT improvement in visibility. sorry if i came off harsh, or disrespectful at all as that was not my intention. i was just answering a question...maybe i should have read it differently? hope the weather is better up your way, got rain till thursday down here.. |

3rd Eye mirrors have a plastic body and I "assume" the reflective part is plastic also. CRG motorcycle bar end mirrors (those expensive ones) are milled from billet aluminum with a black anodized coating. The reflective part is real glass. Is one better than the other? I don't know, but I bought the CRG's. |

No - the glass in the 3rd eye mirror is glass and if you get them tight in the bars - there is no vibration at speed. They work great, fold quick and a must for lane splitters. CRGs are nice also - have them on my weekend bike. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |
