Very nice!, I got Jeremy McWilliams to autograph my Rascal scooter. Or buggy as he called it. I had to leave before Erik arrived though. |

I was thinking of donating the helmet for a charity raffle out there to some Buell/Harley dealership for kids.....anyone out there have an interest? Or should I put it on Ebay? : ) John |

Donating it would be a noble gesture. I'm sure your local dealer has some sort of charity event scheduled for the year. |

So the signatures were only a means to gain profit for you? Uncool. |

Dude, keep it or donate it. They GAVE you those signatures for your enjoyment not to make a profit. |

Daytona, I already made you an offer on Ebay, if that was yours, but you didn't take it. You can always donate it to The American Thunderbike Club. We'll put it to good use. |

I agree with the sentiment expressed here. That is deeply uncool. |

Actually I did not get your offer Cochise. And those quick to be down on me...I have taken this helmet to a few local HD/Buell dealers to auction for their rally's for MD or another Charity of their choice - and I was "Told" that it would be too much a burden to have some place to display it at it their shop and they don't want to be liable it it's lifted (or should I say they implied it would be stolen) Give me a break. It's amazing to me how much time is put into planning a rallye for trivial things and then when someone offers something for them to make a nice chunk for Muscular Dystrophy or a Police or Firemans fund they are turned away. Pitiful. I fully intend to donate it to a charity. I am fully frustrated with the 2 dealers I approached on this and seems they have absolutely no interest in making more for their charity. If not at a HD/Buell rallye then where? Give me a break. So please let 2 sides of the story be told before you jump to conclusions. John |

I'd auction it off and Homecoming "THE 2006 BUELL PINK HAT FESTIVAL", and donate the proceeds (with my cost of the helmet deducted) to the Air Fence Fund. Differing folks will have differing opinions. |
