Does it have to be off of a D&D? I can snap some pics and get measurements of the Z-bracket off of my Vance and Hines slip on. |

Aaron, I should be able to get you some measurements by about this time tomorrow. I dont have 'net at teh house, so I am stuck dealing with work. I am also working on snagging a camera, as, there hasnt been a pic taken of my bike in just shy of a year... Chase |

Not a prob... I was thinking of trying to find a fab shop that will le me hijack a bay for an hour or 2... get some 3/16 plate...and make a bracket, will probably weigh more than the exhaust...but... I had 2 more thoughts... 1, just going ahead and drill a hole, and put grade 5 bolt though as a set pin...but, as stated, concerend about tearing up the pipe... OR, remove the can altogether, and runa short length of pipe...BUT, I will have to run the system open first, and see how it affects the way the bike runs... Its just frustrating, I have this expensensive system, coated at this...and the damn pipe keeps trying to walk back. On the plus side, I dont think the can will actually come ofkf, it slid back at one point, and the tire stopped it... Besides, I woudl be interested to see if mine sits funny do to design, or fitment issues....not sure at this point...just running it... Chase |
